Jenn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Caledonia Clinic and has worked for Pine Rest since 2010. She has earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Michigan University and Master of Clinical Social Work from Western Michigan University. She also has her Certification in Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CAADC) and her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
Jenn has gained extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups in the community, hospital based and in residential settings. Jenn is also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing Approaches.
Jenn specializes in working with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, cognitive disabilities, autism, attention deficit, substance use, as well as child and adult behavior problems and impulse control issues. She considers herself an ally and is accepting and comfortable with working with the LGBTQ+ population.
Originally from the Upper Peninsula though Jenn has lived in the Grand Rapids area since 2007. She loves to be in the beauty of nature in Michigan, recently taking up kayaking. Jenn also loves to listen to music and pursue creative and artistic ventures as well as spending time with her family and friends.
