Jennifer is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. She also has a certificate from Yale University in the Science of Well Being, and is a certified Health, Life, and Career Coach. Since 2004, Jennifer has been working in various roles helping support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
As a clinician, Jennifer believes in an integrated approach with the belief that all areas of your life affect your mental health. She provides a warm yet challenging environment to allow for the most growth. Her specialty areas include working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic illness (Jennifer is a breast cancer survivor), divorce adjustment, parent and child struggles, social anxiety and more. Her approach focuses on a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT). The goal in therapy is to build skills with Supportive Strength based approaches. However, every therapy session with Jennifer is tailored to you and what your needs are.
