Dr. Jen Collins specializes in working with young children, adolescents and emerging adults through both diagnostic assessment and therapeutic support. Her assessment focus is on neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and co-occurring mood and behavioral disorders.
Dr. Collins has a heart for working alongside caregivers and parents who are navigating through the complexities of trauma, adversity, behavioral challenges and developmental disorders. She provides behavior consultation and parent training to help parents as they nurture a healthy relationship with their children who struggle with disruptive behaviors.
Dr. Collins earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she also completed her PhD in clinical psychology. Her training includes experience at the University of Kansas Medical Center, University Health, Children’s Mercy Hospital, and The Children’s Place Kansas City. Dr. Collins is a licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan.
