“My journey to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line—it was lived, felt and earned through real-life experiences that shaped who I am and how I show up for others. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of the life I lived through challenges and raising my children. It allowed me to turn pain into purpose, experience into empathy, and challenge into connection. Today, I bring not only clinical training but also lived wisdom into the therapy room. I understand what it means to start over, to carry both hope and heartbreak, and to keep moving forward. Whether through personal experiences, academic exploration, or witnessing transformation in others, I came to understand that healing is not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reconnecting with what’s already whole. That belief became the foundation of my work.”

Jenny provides therapy to individuals up to age 65. She treats a broad spectrum of concerns including depression, anxiety, shame, inner critical voices, grief and loss, relationship challenges, trauma, adjustment disorders, self-esteem issues, stress management, parenting concerns, ADHD, and life transitions. A compassionate advocate for mental health and healing, Jenny is dedicated to equipping individuals with practical coping strategies and empowering them to recognize their inner strengths and make meaningful life change.

Jenny’s therapeutic approach is a whole-person approach that integrates various modalities such as solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Somatic approaches, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) . She believes in the power of human resilience and the profound impact of compassionate connection. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing begins when individuals feel seen, heard, and valued—just as they are. Jenny strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their whole self, understand their stories, reclaim their voice, and move toward meaningful change.

Since 2003, Jenny has worked extensively with children, adolescents and families across a wide range of settings. She has earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cornerstone University. Her clinical experience includes facilitating court-ordered treatment for incarcerated individuals, conducting adolescent therapy groups, developing life skills support programs for schools, providing parental education and support, and offering individual therapy for a variety of mental health concerns. Jenny has also received additional certified training in child therapy, ADHD, and relationship abuse. She is a certified trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach® (NHA), a relational approach to help build positive relationships between adults and children. She also is a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMPH) which puts focus on the connection between physical health, nutrition and mental well-being, offering more of a holistic approach to treatment.

Jennifer Bathrick participates in the Diversity Collective.
