“During my younger years, I did not know what I wanted to do for a living. As life experiences occurred, I found myself dealing with substance use and mental health concerns within my social circle. I quickly became passionate about helping others, whether they are dealing with an illness themselves or someone they love is struggling.”

Clients who work with Jenna often describe her as genuine, encouraging and deeply committed to their growth and healing. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel empowered to explore their challenges and strengths. Whether supporting someone through recovery, managing mental health symptoms, or navigating life transitions, Jenna brings compassion and clarity to each session. Her strength-based, person-centered approach helps clients recognize their worth, discover purpose, and move toward meaningful change.

Jenna draws from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation. She specializes in treating substance use disorders, court ordered patients, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and stress-related concerns. With experience working across the lifespan—from adolescents to older adults—Jenna tailors her interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Through therapy, clients can expect to build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and gain confidence in their ability to create lasting change.

Jenna is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Michigan. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. Her professional background includes leading the first Women’s Re-entry Program at the Allegan County Jail and launching the first Intensive Outpatient Program at OnPoint (formerly Allegan Community Mental Health). With a strong foundation in both mental health and substance use treatment, Jenna brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for helping others thrive.
