Jenna is a Licensed Master level Social Worker at the Pine Rest Northeast Clinic. She enjoys working with diverse populations from adolescents to adults. She utilizes strengths and evidence-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, and is comfortable working with specialty areas including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, adjustment disorders, and grief and loss.
Jenna started her social work career as a direct care provider at Pine Rest Christian Homes during 2015 working with adults with developmental disabilities. During this time, Jenna attended Calvin College for her undergraduate degree where she received her BSW in 2016. Shortly after, she attended University of Michigan where she received her MSW in 2017. Prior to outpatient therapy, Jenna worked as a case manager at Pine Rest on their inpatient units and Partial Hospitalization Programs. She then journeyed to Florida and Washington DC to work as a case manager in psychiatric and medical hospitals.
Jenna strives to create a safe and supportive place to meet people where they are, as they are experts of their own lives. She enjoys collaborating with people to empower them, using their own strengths, to make positive changes and work toward reaching their goals.
