Heather is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker. She earned her undergraduate degree at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and her MSW from Boston University. An Alumni of Interlochen Arts Academy, Heather enjoys integrating art and creativity in her practice. Drawing on her lived experience, Heather is at home working with populations of all cultures and is an LGBTQ+ ally.
Heather worked for several years with tribal members at Grand Traverse Band Behavioral Health, and with families at the Grand Traverse County Health Department. She spent her field placement treating children and teens at Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center.
Heather is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship.
