“Challenges, roadblocks and ‘oopsie’ moments are a natural part of living in this world. I believe we are uniquely made, and that we have unique strengths, abilities, resources and supporters that help us through trying times. I have a desire to learn these things about you so that I can encourage you on your journey, helping you to overcome any situation. Being a team is crucial to the success of therapy, so we will be working side by side through whatever challenges, barriers or successes you experience. As your teammate, I will respect you, show compassion and always give you a genuine smile.”
Grace works with individuals, couples and families. Sessions will be challenging, insightful, fun and sometimes filled with a variety of emotions. Goals will be created, and a plan of action and strategies will be identified and implemented to achieve positive and lasting change. Grace will work along side clients to promote wellness in all areas of life – mental, physical, spiritual and social.
Grace utilizes an eclectic approach, rooted in client-centered care. A wide variety of interventions are used including strategies from motivational interviewing (MI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Emphasis is placed on a client’s strengths and values to inform care and create solutions that are personalized to each client.
