“The growing mental health crisis led me back to graduate school for certification in Psychiatry and Mental Health. I am passionate about patient-centered care, building meaningful connections, and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion. In primary care, I often managed mental health concerns without the time to fully address them. Now, as a PMHNP, I have the privilege of focusing on the heart of the matter—helping patients improve their overall well-being. When we recognize the humanity in ourselves and others, we foster stronger relationships and healthier communities.”
Genevieve prioritizes a thoughtful, individualized approach to treatment, using the lowest effective dose and the fewest medications necessary for optimal symptom management. She fosters a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients can feel safe to show up as they are, with the goal of guiding them toward growth and healing. Collaborating closely with therapists, primary care providers, and specialists, she ensures seamless, consistent care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
