Genevieve Bastos is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at the Pine Rest Campus Clinic. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Detroit Mercy, a Master’s degree in Nursing from Grand Valley State University, and a Postmasters Certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from University of Cincinnati.
Genevieve joined Pine Rest in 2024 after 19 years in pediatric primary care at Borgess and Bronson in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Genevieve currently sees adult patients age 18+ for psychiatric evaluation and medication management. She has special interest in young adults with mood disorders. Her years of practice in primary care brings a unique wholistic perspective to psychiatry.
Genevieve lives with her husband and two teenage sons in Portage, Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, paddle boarding, and baking.
