Evonne is a licensed psychologist who has worked in the Pine Rest outpatient clinic network since 2011 when she first came to Pine Rest to complete her pre-doctoral psychology internship. Evonne earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Iowa. In 2012, she received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology, which is part of Biola University and located in the Los Angeles, California area.
Evonne’s clinical interests include the treatment of mood disorders (depression/bipolar), adjustment, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, personality issues, self-harm difficulties, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and religious/spiritual issues. Her research and presentation interests include quality improvement in psychotherapy, clinical effectiveness studies in psychology and psychiatry, adult attachment, emotion-regulation, psychophysiology, empathy, and spiritual development. Evonne is currently serving as the Clinical Director of Pine Rest’s outpatient clinic network. She participates with Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest; as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.
