Erika Solomonson, LMSW

Erika is a licensed master of social work (LMSW). She has worked with children, teens, young adults, individuals and families in this community for over 20 years. Erika received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University, and her Graduate degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University.  She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and loves to integrate this along with mindfulness into work with any of her clients that are open to finding their own personal Zen.

Erika has worked in a variety of settings and treatment modalities including residential treatment, home based, outpatient therapy and groups.  Her main interests include teen girl issues, young adult struggles, women’s issues, stress management, depression, anxiety and mood disorders, self injury, blended family issues, parent /child conflicts, and parenting.

On a personal level Erika loves to run, hike, paddleboard, do yoga, and read. She enjoys  spending time with her husband and 3 kids and feels lucky to be raising a family in such an active community, with such strong community connections.
