Erica Terry is a Master’s level Limited Licensed Counselor, serving the adolescent and adult population. She began working for Pine Rest in 2018 in the inpatient hospital as a Psychiatric Technician after completing her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University. She then earned her Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Western Michigan University.
Erica has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She utilizes psychoeducation and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, such as mindfulness and cognitive restructuring, and uses a strengths-based and person-centered approach to develop a therapeutic rapport to best meet her clients where they are. Erica’s areas of treatment interest include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, women’s issues, victims of domestic violence, grief, and LGBTQ+-related concerns.
Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, cooking and baking, listening to music and podcasts, attending live sporting events and concerts, and traveling when she can!
