Diana Hoover is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan. She came to Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in 2022 with over 30 years’ experience as a clinician, supervisor and manager in behavioral health. She also was an English teacher at the high school and college levels for approximately six years, as well as a copywriter and proofreader.
Having lived in and been licensed in five states, Diana has worked in most types of mental-health and addictions treatment settings, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, detox, crisis, adolescent residential, outpatient, and community mental health. Her clients have ranged from five to 85 years old and have represented all major diagnoses.
At the Southwest Clinic, Diana will serve as a part-time clinician, working 20 hours per week. Most recently employed at a community mental-health agency in northwest Illinois, Diana’s history has been to provide therapy to whomever walked through the door. While in the Grandville clinic, she will begin to determine her preferred client population based on her skill level and interest.
In her leisure time, Diana enjoys time with her dog, Sadie, her family who lives locally, as well as reading and movies.
