Cynthia obtained her Master’s degree in Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology in 1993 from Western Michigan University, with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She brings 3 decades of experience as a mental health counselor, presenter and teacher of adults with a variety of concerns: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, adjustment disorders, stress management, parenting, communication methods and utilizing life challenges to gain personal abilities for a greater sense of well-being and confidence. She utilizes short-term, solution-focused methods in addition to cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive methods and personal awareness techniques to manifest the authentic self.
Cynthia perceives each person as a unique physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual being, living in our diverse society.
Cynthia has three adult children and 3 grandchildren, three little dogs and breeds puppies to spread happiness to others.
