“Helping kids find their voice—literally and figuratively—is one of the greatest joys of my work. Whether it’s a toddler learning their first words, a child working through feeding challenges, or a teen gaining confidence in communication, I believe therapy should be fun, engaging and empowering for both the child and their caregivers. Kids learn best when they’re laughing, playing, and don’t even realize how much progress they’re making—that’s the sweet spot I aim for every day.”
Courtney brings energy, playfulness and clinical expertise to her work as a speech-language pathologist. With experience across school and medical settings, she provides care that is personalized, evidence-based and rooted in collaboration with families. Courtney is passionate about creating sessions where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn—no matter their age or ability.
Since 2015, Courtney has worked with individuals from birth through young adulthood, treating a wide range of speech, language, and feeding disorders. Her experience includes early intervention, expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, oral myofunctional disorders (OMDs), and pediatric feeding. She is PROMPT-trained and continually pursues advanced training to deepen her skills. Courtney’s professional goals include becoming a bilingual therapist and earning credentials as a lactation consultant to further support infant and pediatric feeding needs.
Before joining the team in June 2023, Courtney worked primarily in public schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in the Nashville area before returning to Michigan to complete her master’s degree. She later transitioned into outpatient rehabilitation, where she gained experience in the medical side of speech-language pathology.
