In sessions, Dr. DeVantier strives to create a welcoming, safe and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel supported and empowered throughout the therapy process. She encourages active participation, inviting clients to share their questions, insights and feedback in sessions. Her approach fosters trust and openness, guiding clients toward deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
Dr. DeVantier draws from a diverse range of therapeutic approaches including interpersonal, cognitive and behavioral therapies. This allows her to provide clinical interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs and promote effective therapy outcomes.
Dr. DeVantier received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University in 1996 and has been a longstanding member of the Michigan Psychological Association. As a dedicated clinician at Pine Rest, she brings years of experience and expertise to her work supporting clients in therapy.
