Dr. Russell has assessed and treated toddlers, children, adolescents, young adults and their families across multiple settings including school districts, early intervention services, and clinical settings. Dr. Russell received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Michigan State University. She continued her education and training at Indiana University, where she was awarded her PhD in school psychology. Dr. Russell functioned as a school psychologist for the first four years of her career. Dr. Russell then provided early intervention and clinical services in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Russell has a special interest in the assessment of children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, behavior consultation, and parent training to support children with developmental disabilities. Dr. Russell is a licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan.
