Christian received her master’s in clinical social work from the University of Denver in 2014 with a focus in family systems and trauma. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults struggling with various issues, including depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, self-esteem, body image, life transitions, and spiritual trauma. She has advanced skills in the areas of family systems, sexual assault and relationship violence, emotionally-focused therapy, and mindfulness.
Christian loves the therapeutic relationship because it provides a safe and brave space for her clients to explore how they show up in the world with curiosity and vulnerability. Through this relationship, clients work toward healing and restoration. Christian utilizes a holistic, collaborative, empowerment, and feminist approach to therapy. Her therapeutic philosophy is grounded in the belief that change is always possible.
