Christian is a therapist, mentor, teacher and advocate. She loves to walk alongside clients as they heal, grow, change and come into more fullness – both in themselves and in their relationships.
Christian received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Denver in 2014, with a focus in family systems and trauma. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults struggling with various issues, including depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, self-esteem, body image, sexuality, mother-daughter relationships, and spiritual trauma. She has advanced skills in the areas of trauma, family of origin, sexual assault and relationship violence, body awareness, and mindfulness.
Christian loves the therapeutic relationship because it provides a safe and brave space for the client to explore how they show up in the world with curiosity and vulnerability. Through this relationship, the client works toward healing and restoration. Christian utilizes collaborative, depth-oriented, psychodynamic, empowerment, and feminist approaches to therapy. Her therapeutic philosophy is grounded in the belief that change is always possible.
When she’s not at work, you can find Christian outside in the garden with her partner, or inside, nose in a book and snuggling with her pup.
