“Helping people feel seen, understood and empowered is what drives me in the work I do. I believe therapy is like learning a new language—one that helps us express pain, build resilience and rewrite the stories we’ve been told about ourselves.”
Chris brings authenticity, empathy and humor into every session, creating a space where clients can be themselves—even if they don’t have all the words yet. His goal is to meet people where they are and help them move toward where they want to be. Chris creates a safe, supportive and engaging environment, especially for school-aged children and adolescents navigating anxiety, trauma and behavioral concerns. He believes healing happens through connection, creativity and curiosity. You might find sessions with Chris incorporating play, storytelling, art, or movement—tools that help young clients feel comfortable and expressive. Therapy is a collaborative process, and Chris works with families to strengthen relationships and build effective strategies for change.
Chris takes an individualized, trauma-informed approach that includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy techniques, and elements of experiential therapies such as equine and animal-assisted therapy. He has extensive experience supporting clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, family conflict, school issues, and trauma including sexual and physical abuse, neglect and self-harming behaviors.
