Casey is a fully licensed Master Level Social worker at Pine Rest. He has worked with individuals with mental illness and/or behavioral issues since 2006. Prior to joining Pine Rest in 2012, Casey worked four years for a community mental health agency as an outpatient therapist and two years as a clinical supervisor for a Grand Rapids non-profit organization.
Casey received his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University. He has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and family therapy.
Casey’s areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety/stress disorders, adjustment disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, depression/mood disorders, childhood behavioral problems, family difficulties, anger management and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.
