Casey is a fully licensed Master Level Social worker at the Pine Rest. Casey has worked with individuals with mental illness and/or behavioral issues since 2006. He worked four years for a community mental health agency as an outpatient therapist and two years as a clinical supervisor for a Grand Rapids non-profit organization. Casey has been at Pine Rest since April 2012.
Casey received his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University. Casey has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and family therapy.
Casey’s areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety/stress disorders, adjustment disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, depression/mood disorders, childhood behavioral problems, family difficulties, anger management and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.
