Brie Walter-Rooks is a licensed master social worker and a certified advanced addictions counselor (CAAC) at the Pine Rest Caledonia Clinic. She earned a BA in Psychology from Calvin College and a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University.
Her most recent practice experience includes extensive focus on the impact of trauma on individuals struggling with substance use disorders and a diverse range of mental health issues, including personality disorders. Brie’s prior experience includes work in the foster care system and with juveniles and adults involved in the criminal justice system.
Brie’s areas of expertise include the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, codependency, and sexuality issues. She practices individual, couple, family, and group therapy and is passionate about working with individuals and families as they discover strength and healing.
