“It is a joy to walk alongside my clients as they allow me to see into their world, hear their experiences and help navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to help clients move inward and gain a deeper understanding of their circumstances so they can reunite with themselves in a way that achieves lasting growth. I believe every person deserves someone to walk alongside them during difficult times and to cheer them on when they succeed. This is what I aspire to do for my clients.”
Bree works collaboratively with clients while utilizing their strengths and values to assist in problem solving. She believes in creating a space where clients feel emotionally safe, validated and supported to process their struggles. Sessions with Bree may include navigating current challenges, processing past events or learning new skills. Clients can expect to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences along with opportunities for gaining new insight and growth.
Bree utilizes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients decrease their avoidance and struggle with difficult thoughts and emotions. This model teaches clients how to acknowledge and change their relationship with unpleasant thoughts and feelings through acceptance, mindfulness and value guided action. Bree provides parenting support for child behavior problems, utilizing the critical role parents have in their child’s life to instill positive changes. She also uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
