Bill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor with over six years of experience as a behavioral health counselor prior to joining Pine Rest in 2022. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ferris State University and a master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University.
Bill has worked at the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and Addiction Treatment Services helping people with Substance Abuse, Grief, Trauma, Gambling and Veteran’s issues. As a Native American, he likes to use traditional ways, as well as person centered and cognitive behavioral approaches, to help Natives, and others, find connection and renewal in these difficult times.
Bill’s areas of clinical interest include assisting adults ages 18-70 with anxiety, depression, and coping with stages of life changes.
