Anthony Fryling, PsyD
Anthony is a psychologist practicing at the Campus Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University, and continued on to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Behavioral Psychology at Eastern Michigan University and a Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree from Wheaton College.
Anthony has experience working in the Department of Veterans Affairs as well as several outpatient mental health agencies in Michigan and Illinois. His prior research focused on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, social support, and religious and spiritual issues.
Anthony works with adolescents age 15+ and adults, specializing in treatment of trauma-related issues, physical and/or sexual abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety disorders, mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), anger management, religious and spiritual issues, Veterans’ issues, psychotic disorders, and coping with medical conditions.
Anthony participates with Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest; as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.
