Anthony encourages collaborative discussions where he and his client can work together to meet goals. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice to guide treatment decisions. Anthony emphasizes the shared role of both psychosocial and pharmacological approaches in treatment. He is passionate about fostering clients’ independence in their care in order to build resilience.
Anthony earned his undergraduate degree in nursing at Grand Valley State University and worked for 10 years as a psychiatric RN, serving adults both in the community and across various inpatient settings. Anthony completed his graduate nursing education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and is currently practicing as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the Pine Rest Campus Clinic.
