Annie Yakes earned a Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and a Master’s of Social Work degree from Arizona State University.
Annie is a Licensed Social Worker who has been at Pine Rest since 2010. She has worked in a variety of behavioral health settings, including Home-Based, Inpatient Psychiatric care, and outpatient settings with adolescents and adults for individual and group services. Annie is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.
Annie’s specialty areas include mood disorders, anger issues, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and adjusting to life changes. She strives to create a supportive environment for a collaborative experience; empowering people to realize their strengths and reach toward their goals.
