Annie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked at Pine Rest since 2010. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Central Michigan University, and continued on to receive a master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
Annie has extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and was on the DBT team at Northwest Clinic 2010-2015.
Annie has a wealth of experience from working as a social worker in various levels of care from outpatient, Inpatient psychiatric, Home-based, and Medical settings. She identifies as a general practitioner and enjoys working with adolescents and adults. Her areas of interest include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relationship issues, and adjustment and life transition issues. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment for a collaborative working experience.
Annie participates with Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest; as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.
