Angela graduated in 2015 from Walden University with her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She was board certified in 2016 and completed her Suboxone training in 2017. Angela graduated from Maryville University in 2020, completing their Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Angela has worked primarily in the field of addiction since her studies and became a member of the Pine Rest staff in November 2018 where she has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of psychiatric care while working as a part of the addiction services team.
Angela has extensive experience with evidence-based addiction psychiatry, providing services for patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. She has provided services for patients with substance use disorders in both residential detoxification and outpatient medication assisted treatment services (buprenorphine and naloxone management) as well as psychiatric medication services.
