Allison Brower is a Fully Licensed Social Worker at the Pine Rest Caledonia Clinic where she sees clients age 3-70.
Allison has been a social worker since 2017. She obtained her BSW at Hope College and MSW from Aurora University.
Allison currently is the lead clinical social worker on the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Pine Rest. She previously worked in child welfare in Kent County. Allison enjoys working with children and families to take steps towards healing as they move through life.
Allison also teaches a parenting/caregiver class called the Nurtured Heart Approach® (NHA) that is available at several Pine Rest clinics as well as online. Child-caregiver relationships are crucial to well-being and growth. Nurtured Heart® helps all individuals improve their connection with others to focus more intentionally on positive things that can be seen in one another.
Allison is a passionate clinician hoping to serve patients in their time of need. Seeking help is not easy, so the willingness to step into therapy shows that a person is motivated and strong, even if they do not see it yet. Allison hopes each patient can find their strengths and see their purpose in life.
