“I became a therapist because I believe that healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the deeper parts of our stories. I know how easy it is to feel stuck in patterns of self-doubt, fear or shame, and I also know that change is possible with the right support. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” people—it’s about creating a space where you feel seen, understood and empowered to make meaningful shifts in your life. My goal is to help you build self-trust, resilience and a sense of clarity about who you are and what you need while laughing and having fun.”
Alicia believes therapy is a collaborative process—one where client and therapist work together to explore challenges, build insight and create meaningful change. She doesn’t see herself as the expert on your life; instead, she brings her clinical expertise while you bring your lived experience, and together, you will both navigate a path forward that aligns with your values and goals. Alicia approaches her work with both compassion and honesty, offering a space where you can be real without judgment.
Through a blend of evidence-based approaches–including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR)–and individualized support, Alicia’s goal is to empower clients to develop self-trust, resilience and confidence in their ability to manage life’s challenges. In therapy, you don’t have to figure it all out alone—she is here to walk alongside you as you make sense of the past, work through the present, and build toward a future that feels more aligned with who you are.
Each session with Alicia is a mix of thoughtful conversation, guided self-exploration, and practical strategies clients can apply in daily life. Sessions start with a checking in on what’s most pressing for clients—whether it’s a challenge they’re facing, a pattern they’re noticing, or a goal they are working toward. Discussions will be a balance of deep reflection and actionable steps, helping clients gain insight while also building real-world coping skills.
