Alex Daoud is a social worker at the Pine Rest Christian Counseling Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) at the University of Michigan. He then earned a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan School of Social Work.
While earning his Master’s degree, Alex was on the therapy team at Washtenaw County’s Community Mental Health facility. This was the introduction to therapy and Alex’s passion. He then moved to Grand Rapids to work with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses at Hope Network’s Hope Partners outpatient program in 2021.
Alex’ clinical interests include anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and phobias. He strives to provide a comforting environment free of judgment and criticism. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and aspires to help individuals process their traumas. He works with adults 18+.
Alex looks forward to meeting new people and exploring the human mind together.
