Faith Statement

I believe that true and lasting healing comes only from the changing grace of Jesus Christ. Looking back over my years as a Christian therapist, I see countless ways in which Christ has shaped the thoughts, perspectives, priorities and ultimately the lives, of my clients through His generous blessings and faithful guidance.

I believe God is particularly attentive to those who are suffering, and have personally witnessed and experienced God’s gentle hand during times of struggle. These observations and experiences have strongly shaped my views about hope and healing, and of the importance of allowing the power and love of Christ into the process of recovery.

I recognize all individuals as unique and priceless aspects of God’s creation and strive to see the beauty and potential of each person as a reflection of God’s image. I believe in the reality of spiritual warfare and in the power of prayer and Christian collaboration as a means to combat spiritual oppression.
My clients are encouraged to openly discuss all matters related to their faith and to include prayer and scripture as part of our work together. I look forward to the opportunity to serve you as a therapist and as a brother in Christ.
