Adelyn earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Calvin College and her Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to working at the Campus Clinic, Adelyn worked at Disability Advocates of Kent County (DAKC), a Center for Independent Living, where she supported people with disabilities as they practiced self-advocacy. She has also worked for the residential services department in Pine Rest and served as an adjunct instructor in the Social Work program at Calvin College.
Adelyn takes an integrative approach to treatment including strengths based, solution-focused, trauma informed, and acceptance and commitment therapy. She is passionate about providing a nonjudgmental environment that is sensitive to the different ways that culture, gender, biochemical, family, stress, and physical symptoms influence each other in complex ways. She provides services to adolescents, adults and older adults.
