“Mental health care is a passion of mine, and I believe it is just as important as physical health. Mental wellness is an ongoing journey that requires personal commitment and a strong support network of family, friends and a collaborative treatment team. My goal is to meet clients where they are in their mental health journey and support them through any difficult life circumstances they may be facing. I am dedicated to creating a compassionate, supportive environment for both clients and their families in the Grand Rapids community.”
Adam takes a collaborative approach to therapy, working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and overcome challenges. Therapy with Adam is often described as easy-going and enjoyable, while also providing a safe space to address difficult issues, set goals, and process past experiences. Clients appreciate his active listening, humor and commitment to working together toward meaningful change.
Adam utilizes a mixed therapy model that incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. These techniques help clients identify struggles, explore triggers, reframe negative thoughts, and build healthier coping strategies. Each treatment plan is collaboratively tailored to meet the unique needs of every client.
