A few of the residents and staff of our Pine Rest Christian Homes had a great time meeting with Maranda on beautiful autumn morning!
Maranda was on the Pine Rest campus to talk to Christian Homes supervisor Nancy Carter about an exciting initiative to help deliver some much-needed TLC to our lifelong residents with developmental disabilities. Since March, the residents have been quarantined due to the pandemic, away from family, friends and their community. In an effort to help reach out, Maranda is inviting the community to create homemade cards and drawings to send to the residents who love to get mail!
Students at Dutton Elementary in Caledonia got a jump start on the project by dedicating an entire art class worth of colorful pictures and kind messages to bring cheer to the residents. Truly a group effort in kindness and caring!
