Online Addiction Services
Addiction treatment is available through an online video connection similar to Skype or Facetime. This teletherapy service is available to adults living in the states of Iowa and Michigan.
Teletherapy has been proven to be just as effective as traditional in-person therapy. In fact, teletherapy can help address many reasons why you might not otherwise be able to attend in person, so that you can get the most from your treatment and live a healthy and productive life.
- Smartphones, tablets, and personal computers with webcams can all be used.
- Treatment is with highly trained and licensed drug and alcohol counselors.
- Most insurance policies cover the cost of these services. Financial and technology assistance may be available.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
MAT is the use of medications to relieve the withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings that cause chemical imbalances in the body. The client who meets criteria for this MAT will also be required to participate in other recovery-based therapy programs.
All therapy is provided by experienced, credentialed clinicians through the use of individual one-to-one sessions lasting 45 to 60 minutes. All therapists are capable of treating persons with both mental health and substance use disorders.
Group therapy provides a safe and supportive learning environment for persons recovering from substance use disorders. Group sessions review and discuss recovery-based topics and allow for valuable individual sharing of progress, concerns and setbacks.
Mental Health Services
Often during evaluation, a mental health condition such as anxiety, depression or trauma is diagnosed. All of our therapists are capable of treating persons with both mental health and substance use disorders.
Some of our teletherapy clients are assigned a local peer recovery coach — an individual who has been through recovery themselves and can provide encouragement, case management, skills building and support throughout the recovery process. Peer recover coaches improve success rates!
Most insurance policies cover the cost of services. Financial and technology assistance may be available.

“I know how hard it is to find ‘specialized’ treatments, the time and money it costs to travel, or to look for services outside your community in order to keep your care confidential. These difficulties can all be addressed with the blending of technology and therapy.” –Pine Rest Awarded Grant
