Joint Operating Agreement
Inpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided through a Joint Operating Agreement between Pine Rest, Saint Mary’s Health Care, and Metro Health.

Smoking and Tobacco

For the health of our patients, staff and visitors, Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is a Tobacco Free Environment, both indoors and outdoors, beginning July 1, 2008. This applies to all Pine Rest property and all service locations, and is applicable to all staff, visitors, and patients. Pine Rest is dedicated to assisting patients who wish to quit smoking.

Nicotine replacement therapy is offered to patients to help alleviate the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms.

Education materials and information for smoking cessation are available.

Matches, lighters and all tobacco products will be stored with patients’ personal possessions and returned upon discharge. Visitors should leave all tobacco products in their vehicles.
