Ryan is passionate about seeing how the Lord can bring healing
through the therapeutic process in his clients’ lives. He actively
prays for clients and looks for sensitive ways to invite spiritual
themes into the therapy hour. His therapeutic approach is one of
integrating Christian thought and the discernment of the Holy Spirit
with that of cognitive-behavioral tools in psychology. His influences
include Christian Psychologists McMinn, Cloud, Townsend, Stan Jones, and
Ed Shafranske.
Ryan states, “I love working with individuals and families especially
to help bring healing and improved patterns of communication. I will
listen to you (and your family member), try to understand your
situation, and make suggestions to help you grow, gain insight, and feel
better. Effective therapy is a collaborative enterprise and a mixture
of support and challenge. I look forward to meeting you and working
together.”
