Recommended Reading

Welcome to Pine Rest’s Recommended Reading Page!

At Pine Rest, we recognize there are many excellent books available to help consumers, educators, parents, care givers, and others understand a variety of mental and behavioral topics.

As a service to visitors, the following are lists of books our clinicians recommend and/or use in working with clients. Topics include parenting, communication skills, stress, anxiety, addictions, ADHD, and more. Also included are books authored or edited by Pine Rest staff. Please take a moment to review the lists to see if there is a book that would be helpful to you.

For your convenience, Pine Rest has partnered with Amazon.com to provide immediate, online ordering, if you decide to purchase one of the books recommended. Many of these books are also available at area bookstores and some libraries.

This section is updated regularly, so check back often for new recommendations.
