Our Mission

The Pine Rest Foundation was established in 1961. It provides and oversees fund development services for Pine Rest. Each of the 40,000 people we expect to see this year will have their own story, their own problems and their own challenges. They won’t call us if everything is going well in their lives – only if there are problems, serious problems. And all too often those problems are accompanied by the loss of a job, financial insecurity, excessive medical bills and other complications. Gifts to Pine Rest are used primarily for the Patient Assistance Fund, while contributions to the Pine Rest Foundation are used to build our Endowment Funds. The Pine Rest Foundation is committed to using good stewardship in distributing funds entrusted to us to expand and enhance the services Pine Rest provides to individuals, children, and families in the community.
