Kenneth Nydam, LMSW

I am a retired pastor turned licensed clinician. After serving three churches and planting one in the Christian Reformed denomination, I earned a MSW from Salem State University in Boston, MA which is my home town.  My wife Judy and I currently live in Cadillac, MI.  We have three adult daughters and six grandchildren.  I have been working in clinical social work for the past six years in Northern Michigan.  I strive to make my counseling work a clinical expression of the gospel of Jesus Christ, integrating theology with the social sciences to bring a comprehensive approach to therapy.

My many years of pastoral experience equip me to build trusting relationships with a variety of people of all ages.  My passion is to relieve people’s suffering and help them to move forward with their lives.  I am always eager to respectfully work with people in a priestly way to connect them to the God of the Bible so that they “might have life and have it to full.”  I am an avid participant in outdoor sports and I love the Beatles.
