Baby Care Items Drive for Pine Rest's Mother and Baby Program

As part of their project "KDL Gives Back", all 18 branches of the Kent District Library (KDL) are holding a drive to baby care items as well as items for women attending Pine Rest’s Mother and Baby Program during the month of May 2014.

The Pine Rest program is a short-term, intensive, day treatment program for women experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety. One of only three programs like it in the country, mothers are able to bring their babies with them to treatment to improve mother and baby bonding, breastfeeding and eliminate daycare issues.

The drive will help Pine Rest stock the nursery and to share with moms in need. Collection boxes are near the library entrances.

Thank you, KDL!
