Pine Rest Offers Marriage Preparation Workshop
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services offers a workshop
held on two consecutive Saturdays, designed to equip engaged couples with
skills necessary for a healthy and happy marriage. It is taught by experienced
marriage professionals, and the FOCCUS pre-marriage online inventory tool is
used.
The workshop teaches couples healthy relationship skills focusing
on communication, conflict resolution, commitment, and intimacy. Other topics
include financial management, family background influences and marriage
expectations. This skills-based program focuses on the important aspects of
marriage, and provides the proper tools for a successful marriage.
Secrets for Successful Marriage will be offered on Jan. 19
and 26 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Postma
Center on Pine Rest’s main campus,
located at 300 68th
Street SE in Grand
Rapids. The cost is $110 per couple. To register

Other upcoming sessions include: March 9 and 16; and May 4 and 11.
