Beginning April 6, a new exhibit of solely Pine Rest staff artwork will be displayed for the next quarter in the Bruce and Mary Leep Art Gallery at the Postma Center at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services at 300 68th Street, Grand Rapids.
Sixteen staff members submitted one or two pieces of art for display. The artists’ pieces include paintings – acrylic, oil, pastel, alkyd or watercolor – photography, colored pencil drawing and etching/silk screen. This staff art show, “Healers Art,” is in celebration of Pine Rest’s anniversary year. It will be “juried,” or voted on, by Pine Rest staff.
The “Healers Art” exhibit will run April 6 – July 1, 2011. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. through 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional times are available by appointment. There is no admission fee. For more information, please call 616/222-4530.
