Pine Rest President and CEO Mark Eastburg is pleased to announce Kathleen Vogelsang as a new board member at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. She has been involved with Pine Rest as a member of the Pine Rest board designated funds committee for five years.
Vogelsang is the chief investment officer at the Van Andel Institute (VAI) and is responsible for the investment management of the institute’s endowment. Vogelsang came to VAI in June 2005 from Fifth Third Bank. Prior to joining the bank, Vogelsang held the position of investment manager for JVA Enterprises, the family office of Jay and Betty Van Andel.
Some of Vogelsang’s other community activities include; current president, West Michigan Youth Ballet Company board; past president of the Seidman alumni board for six years and was on several other Grand Valley State University boards; and past president of the CFA Society of West Michigan.
The new executive committee members of the Pine Rest board are: Hon. Joseph Scoville, chairperson; Ginny VanderHart, vice chairperson; Ross Hoezee, treasurer; and Nick Kroeze, secretary.
