Pine Rest Welcomes New Psychologist

Rebecca Barcy, Ph.D., F.L.P., a fully licensed psychologist and a nationally certified school psychologist, was recently hired to work in the Pine Rest psychological consultation center. Prior to this she worked as a school psychologist and private practitioner in Ann Arbor, Mich. She completed her undergraduate and doctoral education at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Barcy has extensive experience in helping children, adolescents and their families positively and effectively respond to a variety of learning and social-emotional concerns. Her expertise includes assessment and intervention in the areas of learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, and mood disorders.

She joins the staff of the psychological consultation center who offers a variety of services for individuals, organizations, and professionals seeking psychological and neuropsychological assessment, evaluations and recommendations. The center is located on the main Pine Rest campus at 300 68th Street in Grand Rapids, Mich.
