During Alzheimer’s disease awareness month in November, Pine Rest will offer two free, confidential memory screenings on Nov. 19, partnering with Metro Health on one. No appointments are necessary at either location.
People that are affected or family members and friends may not know how to begin the conversation about memory loss. These screenings could be a non-threatening way to start. They are free, confidential, and open to the public. Those screened will learn about treatment options and be able to pick up educational handouts on memory loss, its symptoms, and how it affects people.
