Beginning April 3, Pine Rest will display a selection of Ben
Neumann’s photography. The exhibit will be located in the Postma Center
Leep Art
Gallery at Pine Rest
Christian Mental Health Services, 300
68th Street, Grand Rapids.
Ben Neumann
describes photography as his escape, his challenge, his passion. Neumann’s show
entitled “The American Landscape” exhibits grand landscapes captured through
using both creative vision and technical savvy. Being inspired by the National
Parks and great photographers of the world, Neumann expands his imagination
with each photograph he takes.
Pleasantly
surprised by nature’s beauty and spontaneity, Neumann’s photography first began
to evolve in California. Since then, his creative and artistic photographs have
been licensed to corporate companies such as Apple Inc., Harpo Productions and
Wolverine Boot Products. The PNC Bank corporate gallery in Pittsburgh, Pa.,
also has a display of his work.
The exhibit at Pine Rest will run April 4 until July 2,
2013. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. –
4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional times are available by appointment.
There is no admission fee. For more information, please call 616/222-4530.
