A free presentation for individuals with depression, caregivers,
and those who want to increase their understanding of depression will be
offered on Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. The presentation will be held at Fairway Church,
1165 44th Street, Jenison, Mich. 49428.
Cindy Freeney, LMSW, a Pine Rest clinician with 20 years experience
will present. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma and complex
medical issues. Attendees will learn ways to cope with the difficult symptoms
of depression. A panel discussion will follow with individuals sharing personal
coping experiences.
Refreshments will be provided. No registration is
necessary. The presentation is co-sponsored by Fairway Church, Disability Concerns
of the Christian Reformed Church and Pine Rest Christian Mental Health
Services.
